ORV Reform Advocacy

National-level work

Wildlands CPR seeks to limit off-road vehicle abuse by shaping national policy and by empowering grassroots conservationists across the country. We advocate specific policy changes intended to restrict use to legally designated routes and eliminate the use of off-road vehicles within roadless and other ecologically sensitive areas. We seek a system of designated routes that occur only on roads and trails where the agency can demonstrate that off-road vehicles will not cause adverse environmental and wildlife impacts. We further advocate that off-road vehicle use shall be prohibited unless maintenance, monitoring and enforcement are fully funded and implemented. To find out more about our national-level efforts, click here.

ORV Resources

As a resource for other grassroots conservationists, Wildlands CPR provides advocacy tools, information, and other resources. We help link and coordinate activists and conservationists, provide strategic consultations, and promote scientific research on the environmental impacts of motorized recreation. To see detailed information of the resources we provide, click here.
