ORV Rhetoric and Behavior

This report, by Responsible Trails America, analyzes advertising by ORV manufacturers and rhetoric from pro-ORV groups like the Blue Ribbon Coaltion to suggest that the messaging from these entities promotes reckless, illegal, anti-social riding by some ORV enthusiasts.  The report analyzes advertising from 2004-2009 and examines countless communications by pro-ORV groups to make its case.  While it's virtually impossible to fully connect these advertisements and rhetoric to the behaviors of some ORV riders, the report provides numerous examples of how these messages promote certain themes and attitudes towards other users and the land itself.
