Montana [0]We continue to work on sensible off-road vehicle policy and watershed restoration. Our Montana Off-Road Vehicle Coordinator works to both reclaim wild areas from past harm and prevent future abuse. We are active members in Restore Montana, a coalition created to promote and the strengthen the restoration economy within the state. |

Utah [0]Wildlands CPR’s goal is to help build grassroots capacity among rural Utahns who share our concerns over off-road vehicle abuse and our vision of restoring the state’s unique wildlands. Presently, recreational use of ATVs, Jeeps, and dirt bikes is a leading threat to rural lifestyles, quiet recreation, clean water, and wildlife habitat. |

Washington [0]Early in 2007 we began working with the Washington Watershed Restoration Initiative (WWRI) to advance their efforts to secure funding for road removal in Washington State and beyond. In mid-summer, we hired Sue Gunn to be the Campaign Coordinator for the WWRI effort. |

Other Projects [0]Nationally, the Forest Service estimates that they need to remove an estimated 186,000 miles of roads to bring the road system down to a manageable, maintainable system that still meets the needs of the agency and forest users. We actively work for legacy roads remediation initiative nationwide. |
