Pacific Crest Trail Monitoring - Trespassers Complain

A few days ago I blogged about our friends at ORV Watch Kern Co. who sent us a couple of You Tube videos documenting illegal motorcycle use on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Well it seems that the perpetrators didn't like being caught in the act so they complained to You Tube management about their images appearing online and changes had to be made "to protect THEM."

Obviously, You Tube should have never taken the complaints seriously because it is unethical to protect illegal behavior. Perhaps we should tell You Tube not to listen law breakers (1 650-253-0000). After all, if this was a bank robbery would they have listened to the robbers complain about their safety? 

The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is the jewel in the crown of Americas scenic trails, spanning 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada through three western states. This trail is open to foot and horse (or other pack stock) travel only. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not permitted.
