Karuk Tribe Report on Steinacher and East Ishi-Pishi Road Removal Projects

Beginning in the mid 1990's the Karuk Tribe and the Six Rivers and Klamath National Forest have partnered to address restoration in the Middle Klamath River watershed.   This partnership has proven very successful for the tribe, the national forests, and for salmon and the river.
