New survey documents ORV problems

The Rangers for Responsible Recreation and Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility released a new survey of land managers in the Southwestern US documenting off-road vehicle problems on public lands.

Those surveyed articulated the significance of the ORV problem on public lands, the significant impacts to public lands, and even the "atrocious" attitudes of ORV recreationists.

The link above includes multiple additional links to the survey results and links to assessments PEER has completed showing how off-road vehicle violations are increasing on public lands.

Congratulations to PEER and Rangers for Responsible Recreation for their excellent work on this issue!  Also happy to remind readers that Wildlands CPR's enforcement report fits right in with some of the key recommendations from the Rangers.
