2010 Legacy Roads and Trails final project data

In Fiscal Year 2010, the Forest Service received $90 million for Legacy Roads and Trails projects throughout the country. In August 2010 they released their projected allocations for those funds, identifying each of the project they had expected to accomplish during the fiscal year (which ended in September 2010).

In late May 2011, the Forest Service sent us the attached spreadsheets, identifying which projects were actually implemented in FY10.  We have not yet had time to analyze these spreadsheets, or compare them to the spreadsheets that were released last August.  In addition, we have not yet received their FY10 "Show and Shine" reports that include highlights of some of their top projects from each region.

To learn more about what LRT funded in your backyard last year, download the spreadsheet and click on the appropriate regional tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet.  We've also reported separately on the agency's cumulative FY10 LRT accomplishments as reported in the President's FY11 Budget Justification.  We cannot guarantee that the data in the spreadsheets attached here will match perfectly with the data previously reported.  The budget justification should contain the most accurate numbers.
