2009 Legacy Roads and Trails Final Accomplishments
The Forest Service recently sent us their final accomplishment reports from their Legacy Roads and Trails projects for 2009. While they don’t include a summary of their overall accomplishments, they do have an excel spreadsheet with individual tabs for each region that show all the individual projects that were implemented. In addition, they sent us a series of one-page reports that highlight individual projects, the accomplishments in those projects, local partners, and photos.
We’ve posted all of the FS spreadsheets and the highlight reports that we received (we've combined those highlight reports into regional files, so you can easily download all highlights from one region). If you want to compare whether or not the agency implemented a project that you cared about, you will have to compare the original 2009 allocation spreadsheet to the spreadsheets included on this page.
In addition, we’ve used the spreadsheets here in conjunction with similar data from 2008, to conduct an implementation analysis of the first few years of Legacy Roads and Trails funds. Keep an eye on our website for this evaluation, which will be available in late June (2010).
